14.06.2010 2010 Freedom to Create Prize
The Freedom to Create Prize celebrates the power of art to fight oppression, break down stereotypes and build trust in societies where the social fabric has been ripped apart by conflict, violence and misunderstanding. History shows that prosperous societies are founded upon creativity. Societies that encourage artistic expression build strong foundations for economic, political and cultural development. They will lead tomorrow's world.

17.04.2010 One day from life of the volunteer
My day started at around half past ten, when I arrived at the Centre. Usually I get there a little earlier, but unfortunately I had jumped into the wrong bus in the morning, which caused me to have a little delay. But nevertheless I was in time for the first event... Tatiana Stepanova’s “master class” in Monotype. This is a technique for painting which always results in very interesting outcomes.
